City Government

Kulm's City Government is made up of five city council members and the mayor. Mayoral and City Council terms are 4 years. The next election will be in 2022.  
Current Council members:
  • Joshua Gackle, serving since 2016, up for reelection in 2024 
  • Ben Pesek, serving since 2020, up for reelection in 2024
  • Dale Gackle, Mayor, serving on council since 2002, as mayor since 2018, up for reelection in 2022
  • Layton Johnson, serving since 2018, up for reelection in 2022
  • Zeb Mahin, serving since 2016, up for reelection in 2022

Garbage Information: Business pickup is every Monday morning. In town residential pickup is every Thursday morning. Call the city if you would like to schedule more than one pickup per week, or you live out of town. If a holiday falls on a pickup day, garbage pickup takes place the following business day.
Utility Bills: water and electricity bills are due on the 20th of each month.
