Another feather in the cap of Kulm education.

The Kulm school and its staff and students were recently selected in a national rating system as a "Blue Ribbon School."  This is a highly held honor as only 218 schools earned this recognition out of over 100,000 public and private elementary and high schools in the U.S.

This award is based on three criteria. 1) is showing great improvment in over all standardized testing. Kulm's students showed great improvement. 2) Over all high

test scores. Kulm again qualified on this criteria.  3) Schools in poverty areas that showed great improvement.

Kulm actually qualified under the first 2 criteria in a highly competitive atmosphere.

In talking to Tom Nitschke, high school principle, he stated, "It goes to show the quality of staff and the enthusiasm that they embrace in using new technology and other innovative ways to help students."

Better hit em' long and straight

for you to help your home town while reveling in the fact that your city is making great strides in moving forward and embracing the future. There is presently so much energy and positive action happening in Kulm as different examples of faith are expressed.  There are a number of things going on that continue to indicate the strong belief in the future and vitality of Kulm. It is a great time to be a part of this community. If you can't live here, and we are inviting you to do just that, please join us in these celebrations of hope and progressiveness.
